Scott Jaffee is the Managing Member and founder of Metropolitan Realty Group, a company he formed over twenty years ago after working in various capacities in the real estate industry. He is a Licensed Real Estate Broker, a Certified HUD Manager, a Certified Tax Credit Specialist and a member of numerous industry associations.
He began his career in the real estate industry with Eastway Construction, a New York City construction company that specialized in the complete rehabilitation and renovation of low income properties. During his tenure with the company, he supervised the rehabilitation of over 5,000 units in the greater New York area. He also worked with Palen Management Corp., a real estate management company that focused on management of HUD subsidized properties throughout the tri-state area.
Since its inception, Metropolitan Realty Group has expanded its portfolio annually. In Scott’s capacity as a Certified HUD Property Manager, he oversees the day-to-day management of over 3,500 Mitchell Lama and HUD Project Based Section 8 units.
He has managed many properties with an aggregate value close to $1 billion dollars with annual revenues that exceed $60 million dollars.
