Maria got her start in the property management business over 25 years ago working for CGI and conducting Management and Occupancy Reviews for the various management companies. This experience greatly increased her knowledge of HUD regulations, an area of expertise she brought with her to MRG. Today, she works hand in hand with the Director of Compliance to assure that all of our sites are in compliance with HUD regulations. She takes great pride in the manner in which MRG’s tenant files are kept, and typically scores an Above Average when audited by CGI on our Project Based Section 8 properties. Maria also manages the waiting lists for all managed properties, a position that helps her derive some of her greatest professional satisfaction: Assisting those who need it in obtaining affordable housing.
